Ask a Lawyer QuestionCountry: United States of AmericaState: New York Hi I currently have 11 points on my license and I have 3 tickets pending. One for speeding 19 miles over the speed limit and tailgating and another for 40 miles over the speed limit. What is the worse that can happen when I go to court. Also, one of the tickets there is an error the officer put I own the vehicle when I do not. AnswerJail time is not likely but your license may be taken away unfortunately--and hefty fines could be levied...How to thank TFD for its existence?
