For an anonymous work, a pseudonymous work, or a work made for hire, the copyright endures for a term of 95 years from the year of its first publication or a term of 120 years from the year of its creation, whichever expires first.
If the work falls within any of the above categories, it will be considered a work for hire only if the parties expressly agree in a signed writing that the work shall be deemed a work made for hire.
In cases of a work made for hire, the employer or other person for whom the work was prepared is considered the copyright owner, unless the parties have expressly agreed in a signed written document that copyright remains with the employee or contractor.
