abrogate v. to annul or repeal a law or pass legislation that contradicts the prior law. Abrogate also applies to revoking or withdrawing conditions of a contract. It is a perpettal law that no human and positive law can be perpetual, and a clause which precludes the power of abrogation or repeal is void from the beginning.
