The age adjustment accounts for what is a fact of

and trails off as workers near retirement. Operating budgets are
based on approved patient days, which are calculated from the previous
years' utilization with a race and age adjustment. The new RDAs for 23-and 24-year-olds are higher for calcium,
phosphorus, and vitamin D than they were before the age adjustment. |
