``It's a severe problem and one that's been masked by rising values in housing,'' the coalition president, John Taylor, said about property appraisals being pushed too high.
The Center For Responsible Appraisals & Valuations announced a nationwide campaign to encourage lenders, appraisers, realtors and others in the housing industry to sign a "Code of Conduct" to ensure homebuyers and homeowners receive accurate and fair appraisals for their homes.
