Porter completed an Associateship of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto at age 14. Qualifications: Eligible candidates have fulfilled the requirements of Associateship (ACAS) and successfully completed nine examinations. Some professors in the Anthropology Department at the University of Chicago tried to arrange a research associateship for him there, to write up the ethnographic research he had been doing, but a majority of the department faculty voted against this. |
