Question

Country: United States of America State: Arizona Involved in auto accident 1/31/05. Minor damage to my GMC 1996 Sierra, replaced grill and one headlight ring.($250.00) My fault. the other car, Toyota Camry, damage $4,500. My insurance is 50,000/100,000. She is claiming pinched nerve in back caused by accident and may need back surgery which could put me over my limits of coverage. What can I do to protect myself? My only assets of any value would be my home, valued at around 224,000.

If suit is actually filed you can meet with counsel to review and possibly move your cash, assets etc.--the suit will take quite a bit of time and very often these matters settle at the insurance coverage amount.
