Country: United States of America State: Texas My son is in Gregg co. jail for having his bond rescinded. He was not abiding by the requirements of the bails bondman. He was arrested Oct. 2005 for theft of $5000 dollars of tools. Never having had to deal with this situation, I am at a loss as to where to begin to find out exactly what is happening. I tried to bail him out and was told that no one would post his bond because he had his other bond resinded. I have an idea that he was on drugs. I live in New Mexico and it is hard to try to find out anything from here. The Gregg co. jailer did tell us that he was in jail on a State Jail Felony 1,500 - 20,000. I do not have a lot of money to spend on legal fees, but I need to know how to get started finding out exactly what is going to happen and what my son needs to do from here. His trial is in a couple of months. If someone needs to call me, that would be fine.
