Question

Country: United States of America State: California I was involved in a pedestrian-automobile accident on Friday, December 2 2005. I was driving a vehicle and I hit a person crossing the street. I didn't see the person until I hit him. I just received a letter from the persons lawyer, and I was wondering what is going to happen. He has filed an injury claim. I've contacted my insurance, like the letter asked. I have not made any contacted what so ever with the other person. What happens with injury claims? Do I have to pay him? or does my insurance take care of that? I am 25 years old, and I have a full-time job. I do not own anything.

Answer

Your insurer normally should handle it--
