The Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) co-ordinates braking, stability and traction with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) and Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) maintaining car stability.
But unlike most electronic car stability systems, the 911's system doesn't intervene crudely and will allow a good driver to drift and slide in a controlled manner.
On the slightly wider body shell, a large spoiler has been bolted on the rear to give the car stability at speed while uprated suspension and 18-inch 16-spoke alloys are fitted all round to help glue the car to the road.
