Ask a Lawyer QuestionCountry: United States of AmericaState: Ohio I was convicted of Theft-F4 several years ago. The entire case was completely over in November 2002 (all fines and court costs paid, probation period terminated). I am aware that the waiting period for an impingement is three years; however, I mistakenly got an OVI offense in September of 2004. Would that render me ineligible to receive an impingement for the first case? AnswerYou could still possibly get the expunction...the clerk of the court involved will usually let you know. How to thank TFD for its existence?
