The League of New Hampshire Craftmen has released its annual ornament for 2006 entitled "Gathering Together" by Grafton jeweler Susanne Rowe.
A visit to the factory to watch the craftmen wielding their cumbersome Heath Robinson-like machines with precision and delicacy was a poignant experience.
Students will also receive hands-on instructions from the Corp of Craftmen, predominantly comprised of "retired woodworkers who spent their lives operating machines," Weidhaas says.
