Relating Craze Behavior to Failures of PE Pipes in Service A review of the literature addressing crazing in polymers indicates that a number of different models have been proposed to predict craze formation, growth, and subsequent separation in polymers.
INTRODUCTION The occurrence of crazing in semicrystalline polymers, particularly in polyethylene, is well documented [1, 2].
