My son lost his license 1 year ago for a second D.U.I. They told him he could get a Cinderella license back this week. Now they have changed their minds and said he is grand-fathered in, under the Melanie Law. My ? is...if the law was not in effect until after his offense, is it possible to grandfather him in, under a law that did not exist until last October?
