Question

Country: United States of America State: Florida I was in an automobile accident two weeks ago involving myself and one other driver. The other driver was arrested and charged with five citations (3 dui with property damage, 1 refusing a breathalyzer, and 1 crossing the center line). I did not receive any citations. My car was totaled and I suffered minimal injuries; some bruising and a burn on my hand from the air bag which has already healed. I am wondering what my rights are pertaining to seeking financial retribution for stress and anguish. I was told I could not ask for 'pain and suffering' if I was not permanently injured.
