Dropped laptop off at Best Buy for repairs, they can't find it now

Country: United States of America State: Illinois Wed roped a laptop to be repair at best buying, when we went to pick up they can’t find it and told us that they will continue to looking for it. Later the someday they call us telling us they found the tag and some has already picked but none of us did. Also they can’t find any information on their system that the laptop was ever dropped.

Based on what you say here, you could probably file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney.you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior. their cameras should have recorded what happened; file a police report too if need be.
