Ex boyfriend acitivated credit card under someone elses name

Country: United States of America State: New York My ex-boyfriend and I were staying at my fathers house until we broke up. He had left some things there, when he picked them up he picked up my mail with him. in that mail was a credit card in my name. He open it up, but I don’t know if he used it or activated it. He was staying with one of his friends mother, and she just gave me the card back. She said she believes that he and his new girl-friend has used it. What do I do now, I have filed a police report for him training it from my fathers house, the police said he is going to be charged with grand larcney. What else can i do?

Ask the card company what has happened and make sure the police are aware--that should suffice for now--
