Country: United States of America State: All States/Provinces This is a general, overall question as related to the concept of "Reasonable promptness” and attorney performance, to wit: What is the acceptable “legal definition” of the words “shortly” and “few” as related to the passage of time? I will use these words in a couple of sentences: 1)--”I was informed by opposing counsel that the funds are to be disbursed shortly.2)--”You should be receiving the funds from your settlement in a few days.
