Question

Country: United States of America State: Ohio If you go to a gas station and set the pump on the automatic setting and the pump clicks indicating that the car is full and you push down on the handle to release the handle from the automatic setting on the pump and gasoline still comes out of the pump injuring a person even though the gasoline flow should have stopped when the pump clicked. I would like to know if the gas station is at fault for a faulty pump?

Answer

It could be yes--if it actually was faulty, they would be liable if any damages occurred.
