The FBI Laboratory lists the number of observations of a sequence in each racial subgroup of the forensic database in a report of an mtDNA examination. Forensic databases are typically "convenience samples," often drawn from a single blood bank, rather than random samples of the population they supposedly represent. Ministry of Public Security - In cooperation with the Ministry of Public Security, Applied Biosystems is helping to establish China's first forensic database as well as provide technical support. |
