I am unhappy in the home with my legal guardian and she is unhappy with me... She ahs even stated that 'getting rid of me' would make her life easier. I suffer from depression and she said if i committed suicide at least she would be rid of me. is this grounds for emancipation?

It may be yes--but we recommend you first contact social services to see about new arrangements and emancipation etc.
