If a student is accused of something, can they see picture evidence?

Hello. I am an 18 year old student in a public High School in Illinois. I am trying to research something regarding students' rights in Illinois, perhaps you could help me. If a school officially accuses a student of committing a minor crime (outside of school grounds), does the student have a legal right to be shown the evidence against him/her before acknowledging or denying the accusation? To be more specific, if the school claims that they have a photo of a student holding a beer can, does that student have the right to see the picture before admitting to anything?
