I have had to park the car around the back of my house but to get there on foot you have to walk down a jitty, which is dark and black and rough under foot.
Former accountant Jitty Trehan, who runs the restaurant while his wife Rita cooks, informed us there was a lot more to Indian food than the usual offerings found at late-night restaurants and takeaways.
Steamy adult situations, themes of racism, mostly likeable characters (including the Jitty, the ghost of Sarah Booth's great-great-grandmother's fashion-minded nanny, who offers advice on everything) and an interesting story add up to a very good listening experience.
