Country: United States of America State: California I am looking to start a small home based online eBay business. In this business I will sell high end designer fragrance and cosmetics. I located a wholesale supplier that will supply me the products. The fragrance and cosmetics will be unused in retail boxes and sold through my eBay store. Is it legal to resell name brand products to the public online through eBay? I would hate to put in all this work and fall into legal troubles. I contacted several eBay stores that would be similar to mine and the responses that I get are that these sellers never even questioned if what they were selling is ok by the brand name cosmetic and fragrance customers. One woman stated she consulted with a lawyer and she felt more comfortable.
