Question

Country: United States of America State: Alabama I am currently a forefather for the city of Birmingham. My employer is paying UAB School for me to become a paramedic. I became a met-basic to have the job. Since my employer is sending me to school to be able to work as a paramedic for them and I have to stay at the city of Birmingham for two years before I transfer, Is my job obligated to provide me with compensation for my time working Emergency room and ambulatory rotation on my own time. Currently per semester I am doing 294 hours of rotations at other facilities for free.
