Ask a Lawyer QuestionCountry: GermanyState: All States/Provinces I have a question regarding copyright law or design rights. I want to reproduce a vintage textile product and offer it for sale after registering in Europe. I know also that there is a company in the US that is selling very similar product. Would it be an infringement of copyright if I offer the product for sale? My product would be prepared from different materials, different designs under different company name. The only thing that is the same is that both are reproduction of a formerly popular women's accession. AnswerIf they do not have a filed copyright you would normally be okayWant to thank TFD for its existence?
