Ran a business with someone else who did not pay rent

I was running a small business with another person who was taking care of the rent. He didn't pay and the owner changed the locks without telling us and all of my stuff is still in there. Is that legal and what can I DO?

Answer

No--call the police--the landlord needs to go to court.
