Hello, I was just served with a summons from a San Bernardino court regarding an auto accident I had over 3 years (and two months) ago. I have no idea how to defend myself against this suit as I am not a lawyer and cannot afford one. I was curious about the statute of limitations (I'm being sued for both personal injury & damage to the car) which I thought were two and three years respectively and I'd like to know how I can find a free or low cost lawyer in Los Angeles.
