For texts, in addition to Greek text itself, several other types of information were included: apparatus criticuses (commentaries and explanations added to texts), scholia (annotations made by people over time on the manuscripts, sometimes becoming part of the text itself), metrical analysis (for poetry), staging notes (for plays), bibliographies, and English translations.
