In studies of intravenous drug users in Baltimore, for instance, AIDS researchers estimated that between 30% and 50% of study participants could not reliably complete a self-administered survey form.
The HTSS was given to the PT and OT students by the investigators as a self-administered survey questionnaire in the students' respective classrooms during regularly scheduled class periods.
