Country: Canada State: Ontario if I was served a promise to appear for fraud under $5000 does that mean i will have a criminal record. I was told I would only be doing community service and that it wouldn't go on my record. is this true

Call the prosecutor or court and find out how the charge is and will be listed--it indeed could still be criminal…
