Cyst walls are made up of epithelium-lined connective tissue, skin appendages, keratin, sebum, and hair. Pathology identified epidermal hyperplasia and parakeratosis without skin appendages. The dermoid type (which was the type seen in our two patients) is an epithelium-lined cyst that contains skin appendages. |
