There was significant statistical interaction between chicken sales and minor poultry sales as the 2 trends closely tracked each other (online Appendix Figure 1).
Likelihood ratio tests were used to evaluate statistical interaction by comparing models with and without cross-product terms between DES exposure and covariates of interest.
The statistical interaction terms added to these models were setting by age, sett ing by child care center, and setting by age group by child care center.
