Question

Country: United States of America State: Texas Someone we know of but do not know personally sent an anonymous letter to the corporate offices of my husband's employer claiming he was involved in drug use. My husband is now facing suspension and termination from his employment because unfortunately he ended up testing positive. We know it would be different if the results had come back negative, but my question is...Is there any legal recourse for this person's actions?

Answer

Not really--unfortunately they are free to say it if it is true.
