I was ticketed for possession of paraphernalia (glass pipe) in Chatham County, NC. What are my options? Can I do community service; pay a fine, or what to take care of it?

Yes--Make sure you get counsel (or at least the public defender) to try tokeep this off your record eventually--jail time is probably not likely ifyour record is very clear now. But having that arrest and/or a conviction onyour record will make job-hunting etc. more difficult. Often this could benegotiated down to some kind of court supervision etc.
