Ask a Lawyer QuestionCountry: United States of AmericaState: All States/Provinces I'm looking to create a production company with a title that exists as the part of the domain name of several websites (Ex: "Coolname.com" vs. "Cool Name Productions"). I've checked each site and none belong to companies; they're only registered domain names. In fact, there are .info and .biz, etc. domains still available for this title. Is there any danger of trademark infringement if I use this title for my company? AnswerIf no company is using it and no trademark is filed, you will normally be okay--How to thank TFD for its existence?
