A Gilsland walk offering almost 5,000 people - born at the local spa hotel in Second World War evacuations of pregnant women - tea at their birthplace.
The mix of cabaret, dance and comedy inspired by eras in history, from 1920s America to Second World War evacuations, were all topped off with classic numbers, such as The Foundations' Build Me Up Buttercup, which had the audience clapping and singing along with heart-felt enthusiasm.
