A person's sexuality was unwilling made public by a disgruntled acquaintance for purpose of malicious intent. This act was not only done with intent on ruining the repetition with other acquaintances, but jeopardizing this person's career with in a health care field. The question is, would this complaint of defamation hold up in court?

Answer

Not really--it is not illegal to be gay or to tell of it; if that is what you mean.
