A court heard the
stabbing happened at a home in Tunstall in the early hours of November 24 last year after the teenager turned up at a party unannounced.
During that evening, the deceased and her son arrived at the flat after which Diergaardt brutally attacked her by
stabbing her 27 times with several kitchen knives.
