Question

Country: United States of America State: Missouri I have been abused by a bill collector several times. The abuse started a few months ago when a collector kept calling my mother's home (over 10 times) and saying that if I did not contact them within 24 hours they would turn my account over to the state. Also, they have left messages to my family saying that they were calling from a "job" that I had applied to. They have also left messages on answering machines stating that i have a certain amount of time before they "turn me in". I have contacted the company, begging them to stop calling my family members (where I do not reside) and they continue to call. I also filed a complaint with the FTC.
