The Perrotts were well known in the Rhymney Valley and on my 1841 census transcript for Llanfabon parish, Ann Perrott age 70 (of independent means) and Phillip Perrott, aged 30, were living at Wern Farm, Nelson, and recorded as being born outside of the Parish, possibly at Llanwonno where several of my ancestral relatives originated.
