An echocardiogram obtained at 4 hours of life revealed a structurally normal heart, with evidence of persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn, tricuspid regurgitation, a large patent ductus arteriosus with a right-to-left shunt, and aortic isthmus narrowing, without coarctation.
