QuestionCountry: United States of America State: New York I plead guilty to a conviction of possession of marijuana in 2002. I had to because I would not have been able to make the next trial date had I plead not guilty. It was my first (and only) offense. I am now applying for teaching certification and teaching jobs. Does this conviction show up on my criminal background check and how detrimental to my job hunt will this be? I paid a 150$ fine for the possession charge and the taillight (if that helps at all).Answer |
