Question

Country: United States of America State: Oklahoma I had a judgment filed against me for an item that occurred prior to my filing bankruptcy. I was unable to attend the hearing and the judgment was rendered. Now there is a second hearing scheduled "Motion to require judgment debtor to answer as to assets" and "Order for asset hearing".Does the bankruptcy supersede these or am I liable?

Answer

It is not legal for them to proceed if you are in bankruptcy or if you discharged that debt--notify them of the bankruptcy--
