| Our lead product, orBec(R) (oral beclomethasone dipropionate or BDP), is a potent, locally-acting corticosteroid being developed for the treatment of gastrointestinal Graft-versus-Host disease (GI GVHD), a common serious complication of bone marrow transplantation for cancer, as well as other gastrointestinal disorders characterized by severe inflammation. This result is consistent with a 55% reduction in the risk of mortality from a previous Phase II trial of oral beclomethasone dipropionate.
