| We've seen films like this before, but Collyer's dialogue makes the character believable, and Gyllenhaal breathes life into it. When Tademy breathes life into the characters on the road to sacrifice and achievement, the novel almost serves as a primer of life lessons and long-lost tenets of responsibility and dignity to all of those who have forgotten what we as a race have survived. The witty writing is enhanced by Brick's reading as he once again, so capably, breathes life into multiple characters, maintains the pace and suspense, and keeps readers enthralled. |
