Question

Country: United States of America
State: Ohio

My mother has been receiving her social security checks at my address in lumbus,Oh. for a couple of years, while she has been living Dayton, Ohio. The reason she gave me for this is that my address is more permenant,in case she wants to move. I have had no problem with this arrangement. until now. We are having a major dispute. And she said that she can call and harass me, and come to my house all she wants. Because she gets her mail there. And that I have to evict her. Is this true?

Answer

No--if she is not living there, you normally can tell her not to come there and get a police restraining order if need be...
