Pope Benedict XVI is on Sunday to canonise five new saints, including a man who dedicated his life to lepers in Hawaii and another considered one of the greatest mystics of the 20th century.
Rudd will also meet Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel and press Pope Benedict XVI to canonise an Australian nun during his five-day trip, as well as attending the MEF meeting on July 9.
