The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board has agreed to develop and administer an accreditation system for RIOS certifiers. This term is commonly understood to mean that the nonprofits consider themselves independent certifiers because they use their own sets of criteria to accredit companies, not the criteria that the companies themselves use. |
