Question

Country: United States of America
State: Nebraska

I have a question regarding contesting a will. My dad died last year and left everything to his wife. She has some of our family heirlooms (jewelry, etc.) in a safe at her house. She has no contact with anyone in our family and we would like to keep the stuff in the family. Please tell me if we would have a case and approx what the cost would be to do this.

Answer

There has to be some kind of reason if he made a will--e.g. fraud, he fogot he had certain items etc.--
